Simon Costin, the designer of creativity.....


Simon's work as a set designer brings the creativity of art installation to editorial and fashion shows alike.

He collaborated with Alexander Mcqueen on his own line, Mcqueen's Givenchy ready to wear and haute couture shows, with elaborate staging to bring the designer's vision to reality.

Simon's sets are as diverse as his client list which includes lanvin, hermes, h&m, valentino, givenchy, gucci, stella mccartney, ysl, margiela, chloe, matthew williamson, bulgari and faberge. He has also designed parties for ferragamo's cinderella ball, hermes and the new york academy of arts tribeca ball. Simon has also been gareth pugh's art director for the past 5 years.

Simon has shown his own work solo and in group exhibitions in the metropolitan museum of art in new york, the Ica in london and the Galerie Patrica Dorfmann in Paris. He most recently curated a major exhibition on the history of fireworks at compton Verney in Warwickshire.

Advertising credits in the fashion industry are diverse - blumarine, banana republic, cacharel, costume national, henry cottons, hugo boss fragrance, mulberry, polo ralph lauren, target, and vivienne westwood boudoir with nick knight.
